San likes to draw during recess time. Something unexpected occurs today, San stops in the middle of his drawing.
“Hey!”- One of the boy yell
“Come and see what Tồ has !”
“What…what!”, “ So beautiful!” – San’s classmates voices cause him to become curious.
It’s turns out to be a brand new set of crayons. San became attracted by the colorful crayons passing from hands to hands. San really likes the crayons because he only has an ordinary pencil.
San’s mind keep circling about the crayons through out the day and on his walk home from school. San imagines how wonderful it would feels to have the same set of crayons.
That afternoon, alone in his room, San appears unhappy while drawing with the sunset shining through the window. He would like for his drawing to be more colorful.
So focus in his drawing, San is not aware of the changes around him. When he looks up, the scenery has turned into something he never seen before.
“Are those not my drawings?” – San surprises when looking at the images slowly appears before him.
Why do they not have colors?
San thought to himself-“ How beautiful they would be with color “ . I will color the cat orange, the yellow robot , the elephant blue,.. Suddenly, the cat and the floating balloons became colored as San wished.
Excited and surprised, San continues to color the images with his imagination.
Satisfied, San draws a deep blue sea with various colorful creatures.
San draws himself standing on the edge of a cliff; looking at the glowing and mystical dragonflies that light up the darkness of the night sky.
San draws himself and his friends playing in the open field always filled with joy and laughter.
San draws himself on the paper plane, gliding through the deep blue sky along with the magnificent goldfish.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew at his paper plane. This cause San to fall from the sky into a dark place with only him and his drawings.
Awaken, still holding his drawing and pencil along with a small ray of light, San suddenly saw his drawing has color.
San smiles and feels satisfy with what he has. He realizes that with just a pencil and the power of the imagination, he can create his own wonderful world.
